Appreciating and imbibing different cultures around home and during holidays led to the inception of my brand Sedhantik. It has created ancillary opportunities for me to extend my professional services to different brands, government initiatives, educational institutions and individual customers.
As an experienced fashion and textile designer by education and practise, I actively seek new and varied avenues for me to impart my expertise through my services.
I share insights from my experience by training rural artisans in design, conducting courses in universities, participating in panel discussions and delivering talks around my specialties. Topics I am passionate to share my views on include evolution of traditional crafts, augmentation of sensitivity towards the cultural practices and aesthetics, enhancement of self-expression, and bridging the gap between world class designs and rural Indian craftsmanship.
